The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History will sponsor a Fall Flea Market to benefit the museum on Saturday, September 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the museum grounds at 956 Maple Avenue.

This popular monthly fund-raising event features seventy vendors filling the museum grounds with antiques, collectibles, hand-crafted gifts, plants, and bargains on used goods of every description including vintage jewelry, furniture, books, clothing, household items, tools, toys, and much more!

The authors of the new pictorial history book, Greater Carpinteria, Summerland & La Conchita will be signing copies in the museum from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This recent publication of the Arcadia Images of America series has over 200 never before published images of the Carpinteria Valley and the villages of Summerland and La Conchita, with captions brimming with historical facts and anecdotes. The book is available from the museum’s gift shop for $21.99.
