2011 4th of July Events Around Santa Barbara County

Carpinteria:

• The 4th of July weekend kicks off in Carpinteria on July 1st with a cruise down Linden Avenue in some beautiful classic cars and then a showing of “American Graffiti” at the Plaza Playhouse at 7 pm - Admission is only $5!
  The 14th Annual Rods & Roses Show takes place on Saturday, July 2nd on Linden Avenue. Free Admission! Show starts at 10 am to 3:30 pm, followed by the Carpinteria Independence Day Parade at 5 pm. At 7 pm, we will show “Killing Memories” at the Plaza Playhouse. Part of the proceeds will go to the VVA Chapter 218 to further their efforts in bringing “The Moving Wall” to Santa Barbara on September 29th.

Goleta:

• Goleta Fireworks Festival 2011

  • Join us at the park for an afternoon of fun-filled entertainment for all ages, capped by a spectacular fireworks display. As in previous years, this will be a family friendly, alcohol-free event.

    Date: Monday, July 4th, 2011
    Time: 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM
    Location: Girsh Park – Located on the south side of the Camino Real Market Place
    Tickets: $6.00 Adults $4.00 Children (ages 3– 12)

    The kids can enjoy the inflatable jumpers, face painters, and other activities.

    All kids games are FREE with the price of admission!

Santa Barbara:

• July 4, 2011 in Santa Barbara
  • This year’s Independence Day celebration will be held on Monday, July 4th. Fireworks are sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara and presented by Pyro Spectaculars. The 18-20 minute fireworks display will commence off of West Beach at 9pm.

Solvang:

• July 4th Solvang Rotary Independence Day Parade
  • Monday, July 4th 11 AM, Downtown Solvang – The Rotary Club of Solvang is pleased to invite you to be part of our 4th of July parade. Seeing the streets of our town lined with friends and neighbors, hearing the cheering of children waving our flag, will make you feel proud to be part of this spectacular happening.

    Our delicious Solvang Rotary Bar-B-Que immediately follows the parade in Solvang Park. The Santa Ynez Rotary Club will be holding its annual 4th of July spectacular fireworks display at the Mission to end our day of celebration. This makes for a wonderful day. With your help, it will be.
