SBCoast.Net was created to highlight the events, festivals, non profit fundraisers, etc. that happen here in our community of Santa Barbara County. (The other reason was I got tired of friends texting me “I’m bored, there’s nothing to do…” Now I can text them back and tell them there is plenty to do around here, just check out SBCoast.Net)
Often times, there were events that people had heard about, but they had already passed. I heard all too often, especially with non profit fundraisers, that people would have attended, if they knew about the event. But, for whatever reason, the publicity aspect wasn’t there.
Other times, I would hear about an event that I never even knew about, but it had been going on for many years. Same thing can be said about many of the businesses, non profits, and other things our part of the world has to offer.
We are blessed to be able to live in paradise… why not showcase what we have to offer, both for residents, and visitors.
Our Vision
Our vision for SBCoast.Net is to become a media partner for all organizations, both for profit, and not for profit, throughout Santa Barbara County, to help them promote themselves and what they do, and to list all these events in one centralized place, instead of hunting around all over the web to find out what’s going on. We aren’t here to report the daily news, as there are many other fine organizations that carry out that task daily.
